tradition.leading off san francisco's saint patrick's parade this morning. following behind.a contingent of the city's finest and wide variety of fire trucks. thousands lined market street for a parade that had more than one hundred and fifty different groups and floats, many reflecting the strong support this parade has always received from the cities uniformed services. san francisco the police department and the fire department, i mean there's a whole bunch of irish people.that's all there used to be on the police and fire department years ago in san francisco which is now very mixed just like the city is, which is great but they are still strong supporters and they have a ball, everyone has fun at this parade. thousands came out to see the parade, and as many as two thousand people marched in the parade itself.in this the 162nd san francisco st paddy's day parade. here in the bay area.police are reminding drivers to be safe and sober this saint extra c-h-p officers will be on patrol throughout the weekend. and there will be several d- u-i checkpoints. here are a few of them. in san rafael.t

193 -- and it is also streaming online at and his kron-4-. com. new at 11. a san francisco night club is closing for good. after three people were shot over the weekend. it happened at the three- 30 ritch nightclub, in the city's south of market neighborhood. official revoked the club's permit on monday. police say, the initial shooting happened inside the club, after an argument. and more shots were later fired in a nearby parking lot. all three victims are expected to be okay. police say no arrests have been made. a five thousand dollar reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of a man who is accused of molesting and trying to kidnap a nine -year old girl in oakland. this is surveillance video showing images of the suspect walking on the sidewalk. it happened on the 12- hundred block of 94th avenue. monday evening. police say, the man picked the girl up in a bear hug, touched her inappropiately and tried to carry her away. the girl was able to get away. the attacker is described as a latino male in his 20's, with ears that stick out prominently he has short

. a teen home for spring break is shot to death in san francisco's mission district. his family is completely shaken tonight. kron 4's alecia reid has the latest on the victim that was just a few steps from his door when he was tragically gunned down. >> tragedy.especially happening in front of his gate. he had so much potential to excel. family members tell us 19 year old jacob val-di-viezo was a top scholar and athlete at raritan high before moving on to lewis and clark in oregon as an honor student on a football scholarship. in town for the week, he was walking home with a friend just after 3-am saturday morning when police say a gray sedan pulled up --- a hispanic man in his 30's hopped out, asked jacob if he was in a gang, but before giving him a chance to speak --- shot him. witnesses say the family rushed downstairs, only to find jacob lying on these stairs. his father held him until he was rushed to the hospital where he died. one after the other, people poured in to express their condolencesas they question how this could've happened to a guy with such a bright future. t-s

station, kron 4 news starts now. >> pam: breaking news tonight at five. san francisco police right now. investigating a shooting. this happened just before 4- pm, the victim found on the corner of market and davis streets. after being shot more than a mile away. at this hour -- muni service is being diverted. kron 4's terisa estacio is live at the scene -- terisa what is happening right now? >> reporter: this is very much a developing situation. i want you to focus your attention on this car. they are telling this off of market street. market street is shutdown. they are going to tow this car. there was a shooting about four blocks away with three people, involved. one person was shot. the passenger was the person that was shot. the driver looked are run for a hospital but somehow ended up on market street. they pulled off to the side is that is when police surrounded the vehicle. the hospital administrators are dealing with them now. in the meantime they have taken the driver to police headquarters to taken into the headquarters to question him. they are still searching for the third
